The guys at a new coffee roaster called Commonwealth Coffee in Denver, Co have finally completed their custom espresso cart, set to launch very soon!
The idea is the brainchild of former Cliffite and employee of Oak Cliff Coffee Roaster, Jason Farrar. Jason came to us back in early February of this year, only a couple months after we got up and running. He wanted something special and we fell in love with the idea right away.
Months of looking at old 19th century cargo bicycles and learning how to re-design an already proven method of building a front-loading cargo bicycle, OCCB finally delivered a rolling bicycle to them in July.
Our rolling bicycle was made from re-purposing the rear of a vintage 90’s mountain bike frame, and then custom building the cargo frame, steering, and the front and rear wheels. The interior wood was built by Kootstik and designed by Commonwealth Coffee. It was a labor of love, mixed in with a bit of frustration as nothing like this had been done before that we knew about.
